1. Our approach
Mathilda is designed to be privacy-first. The Mathilda Hub performs all fall-detection inference locally, on-device. Raw pressure-sensor data never leaves your home. Only event-level metadata (e.g. "fall detected at 14:02, no movement for 30s") is transmitted to our servers — and only to deliver alerts to your village.
2. Data we collect
Account information you provide (name, email, phone, emergency contacts), device telemetry (firmware version, connectivity status), and event metadata. We do not collect audio, video, or raw sensor streams.
3. How we use it
To deliver alerts, support your devices, and improve the product. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@mathilda.app. Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, which we honor regardless of where you live.
